We congratulate you on taking the first step toward better dental health. No matter what you are after, from teeth implants to porcelain crowns, we hope this website will help you to learn more about our practice, the options available and answer any questions related to your treatment. As well as providing an in depth website for current or prospective patients, we are happy to organise a consultation to discuss your options or concerns in person.
We Welcome New Patients
For new patients, our initial consultation is an opportunity for both the dentist and the patient to gather information. We take the time to review your records, gather information regarding your general dental and medical history before completing an oral examination. Once the examination is complete, we will discuss the options available in terms of treatment. Treatments at our Auckland clinic may be dentures, teeth implants, porcelain dental crowns or another alternative. Our initial consultations usually last up to an hour and give you the opportunity to ask any questions about your treatment.
We pride ourselves on providing state of the art specialist care and we are happy to accept referrals for advice, treatment planning and treatment. However, for your convenience, referrals are not required for you to see us.
At our dental clinic in Auckland we can provide a range of treatment solutions, including:
- Complete and partial dentures
- Dental Implants and Implant dentures
- Porcelain dental crowns and bridges

Dental treatment options and their differences
This is probably one of the most common questions we get from patients at clinic in Auckland. Although all three come under the term ‘dental implants’, they are actually three different procedures. Below are a few short definitions of these three procedures and when they’re used.
Crowns: A crown is essentially a porcelain cap which goes over badly damaged teeth or implants. Having porcelain crowns inserted will restore the appearance of the tooth and prevent further damage. Insertion is a simple procedure, however they need to be replaced every 10-15 years.
Implants: These are used in situations where teeth are too badly damaged to be fixed with a crown, and a bridge would mean destroying good tooth structure. The process involves attaching a titanium rod to either the maxilla or mandible (jaw) and then an individual prosthetic tooth is attached. This is the most invasive procedure but also the most long-term option, as quality implants can last throughout your lifetime.
Bridges: This procedure is another option for when teeth are missing. Bridges are often recommended where there has been jaw bone loss or severe damage. During this procedure, a prosthetic tooth is anchored between two natural teeth. This is a simple, cost effective procedure that requires no surgery. Bridges need to be replaced every 10-15 years.
Appointments can be arranged on Monday to Thursday between 9:00am and 5:00pm and between 9:00am and 3:00pm on Fridays.
